Atma Anur is a British born drummer/producer currently living in Poland. Atma has over 170 CD/EP as a sideman and/or producer, and is involved in teaching at many schools around the world, including the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in Chennai, India, the Krakow Jazz School and Krakow Groove Lab (as of 2012) in Krakow, Poland. Currently working on tracks for more new CDs.
Atma's credits include CDs with many guitar greats on the Shrapnel record label, Favoured Nations Records, and many other major record labels like Geffen, JVC, Mercury, Polystar, Road Runner and Alternative Tentacles, to name just a few. Atma may be best known for his work with artists like Jason Becker, Tony MacAlpine, Richie Kotzen and Greg Howe.
Atma has also recorded and toured with many other commercial artists including Gregg Allman, Third Eye Blind, Journey, Joe Satriani and David Bowie...
